The inner chamber is made from painted stainless steel with a white reflective surface. The outer chamber is made from painted zintec coated steel. Doors are fitted with a multi-glaze viewing panel with a light-tight cover.		Vertical airflow is used to enhance heating and cooling control at optimum efficiency. Heating is proportionally controlled by electrical resistance heaters operating at black heat. A direct expansion CFC free refrigerant system with a modulating control valve is used for cooling.


A proportionally controlled steam generator is used to provide humidity free from Legionella bacteria and lime scale.

Electronically controlled, high frequency T5 fluorescent lighting technology is used to provide flicker free light dimmable from 100% down to 3%. Lamps typically last 12000 hours and are up to 20% more efficient than previous T8 lamps. Elapsed hour meters are fitted to indicate when lamp changes are due. Lamps are fitted in thermostatically controlled lamp boxes to reduce heat gain and maintain lamp efficiency and output.

Chambers are fitted with user settable alarms to protect your trials. There is also a structure thermostat to protect the chamber in the unlikely event of over-heating.
